Action Against Hunger Food Drive 10/4/15

Every year the Record, Herald News, (201) and Community Newspapers and Magazines of North Jersey Media Group sponsor the Action Against Hunger Food Drive. On Sunday, October 4th dozens of NJ grocery stores participated in this amazing event and we were the recipient of 2300 pounds of food that was collected at Stop and Shop in Ridgewood. Many volunteers and generous donors made this event possible.

Temple Beth Israel Yom Kippur Food Drive 9/22/15

Busy day for SSA.  Food drive at Temple Israel in Ridgewood.  Ninety bags of food were collected from members attending Yom Kippur services.  Ridgewood residents helped receive food, transport it to the pantry and shelve it.

DOT DOT DOT Food Drive 2015

This is a photo of the DOT DOT DOT (donate one thing) food drive that took place last week at the A&P in Midland Park to benefit Ridgewood Social Services. Founded by high school student Jack Trevisan, DOT DOT DOT volunteers included seventh graders from George Washington middle school. The day was a huge success!
